CIC Photonics designs and manufactures the most sensitive and robust White Cells (long path gas cell) and FTIR spectrometer accessories that are available in the marketplace today. We integrate systems components for solution-based analytical instruments. We design and develop proprietary analytical and control software for these integrated systems. CIC Photonics has several product lines to meet the range of our customer's needs in gas, liquid, and solids analysis using FT-IR and EP-IR spectroscopy and spectrometers. Our product lines provide numerous alternatives to meet application conditions and specifications while providing the highest quality results the technologies allow. Our products are built to precise specifications and designed to provide the greatest long-term value for our customers.

Below are descriptions of the variety of CIC Photonics Products. Our products are grouped together as follows:

Gas Analysis Turnkey Systems

IRGAS Turnkey Analysis System architecture includes: ABB Bomem WorkIR or MB3000 Spectrometer; CIC Photonics White Cell (long path gas cell) the 4Runner; and SPGAS, a user-friendly chemometric software engine that employs a weighted multi-band CLS algorithm developed in collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories. CIC Photonics bases the IRGAS Analysis System design on the ABB Bomem WorkIR FTIR Spectrometer. This FTIR Spectrometer is a compact and rugged unit that works exceptionally well for transportable FTIR Gas Analyzers and permanent installations alike. CIC Photonics has developed analytical gas cell systems that work equally well with other spectrometers in the FIR, IR, and NIR spectrum.Our White Cells (long path gas cells) are constructed of 316 Stainless Steel for maximum corrosion resistance. The gas cell bodies are coated with nickel to further enhance anti-corrosive properties. The CIC Photonics White Cell incorporates mirrors that are constructed of 304 Stainless Steel and coated with proprietary strata that bond the reflective coating and protect the mirrors from chemical attack. These mirrors provide 98.5% reflectivity, thus empowering the long path gas cell with extraordinary optical power throughput.

    

 

Custom Gas Analysis Systems

CIC Photonics uses its expertise and standard systems to develop and design custom systems when desired by a customer, or when an application requires either modification or new innovation for reliable solutions. Often our custom design experience has encountered similar needs for unique applications and we are able to quickly respond and create the solution you need. Over 14 years we are proud to be the solutions provider when no alternative solution has exactly met a customer's needs.



 

Gas Analysis Stainless Steel Cells

Our White Cells (long path gas cells) are constructed of 316 Stainless Steel for maximum corrosion resistance. The gas cell bodies are coated with nickel to further enhance anti-corrosive properties. The CIC Photonics White Cell incorporates mirrors that are constructed of 304 Stainless Steel and coated with proprietary strata that bond the reflective coating and protect the mirrors from chemical attack. These mirrors provide 98.5% reflectivity, thus empowering the long path gas cell with extraordinary optical power throughput.

      

Gas Analysis Specialty Cells

CIC Photonics has developed specialized cells for applications requiring unique operating conditions, or testing/sampling environments, or unique materials requirements. Some of these include off-gassing solids in extreme temperatures, or low or high pressure testing chambers. Other requirements are for liquid forms using FT-IR spectroscopy with high energy throughput. We have also developed and can provide, as a special order, Nickel-coated Aluminum cells.

 



                 

Gas Analysis Glass Cells

Some applications require glass containment rather than stainless steel. CIC Photonics can custom manufacture glass cells for gas analysis. Just as our White cells are custom tuned for each customer's specific requirements, so also are our glass cells optimized for each application.

Warranty

I. Since CIC Photonics builds its products to last, we warrant them that way. If you have a problem with our accessory or system, within the first year of ownership, that is a result of a defect in workmanship or the wearing out of a component that should not wear out, we shall fix it.

II. Parts that normally wear out or are consumed or can be damaged in the normal operation of the accessory, such as fragile optical elements (lenses, windows, crystals, mirrors, filters, etc.) are warranted against defect in manufacture for a period of 30 days after original delivery to the purchaser.
